It's truly a moment to rejoice for all the Jodha-Akbar fans out there as Zee TV's Number One Show, has went on to become the Number One show on TV.!!!!!
Yes you heard it right, until last week it was Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum produced by Sashi-Sumeer Mittal's Productions Pvt.Ltd who topped the TRP List. DABH has been topping the charts for over a year now but the record has finally been broken by Zee TV's Jodha Akbar produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Yes it's Official Jodha Akbar is the Number One Show on Television this week pushing Diya Aur Baati Hum back to the number two position.
The series that premiered on 18 June 2013 stars Rajat Tokas as Emperor Jalal and Paridhi Sharama as Jodha. Jodha Akbar is an epic drama about a sixteenth century story of the political marriage of convenience between a Mughal Jalal and a Rajput princess Jodha.
The show that started off on a great note and went on to churn out some amazing tracks which went on to do exceedingly wee, witnessed one of the most outstandingly beautiful phase/seq in the recent past with Jodha saving Jalal's life from a Vishkanya named Benazir (Meghna Naidu) by consuming poison and thus betting her own life for the safety of her Husband in the process, followed by Jalal's determination, prayers and love in bringing his beloved Jodha back to life from her deathbed.
Viewers were left speechless post this track and one could see FB pages, blogs, Twitter filled with rave reviews and praises for the popular-royal jodi Jodha and Jalal popularly known as AkDha and the entire team for spinning out such a wonderful story and executing it with equal fervor.
Looks like the viewers loved and accepted the recent Jodha-Jalal sacrifice & love track more when compared to the Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) IPS training in Diya Aur Baati Hum; the results of which is right before all as Jodha Akbar is the number one show on Television right now.
Congratulations to the entire Cast and Crew of Jodha-Akbar for this stupendous achievement, and here's wishing them that they continue to top the charts.
